Microsoft Business - Technology Center was founded to provide infrastructure and resources for the ICT (Information and Communication Technology) industry, especially to ISV’s (Independent Software Vendors) small and medium-sized enterprises to create and develop innovative new products and services.
It will help entrepreneurs and small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) to create innovative new products and services, bring those products and services to market, and build competitive businesses in the IT sector. The Center includes help for start-up companies and a laboratory facility for development of joint projects among mature software developers and vendors, focusing on delivering knowledge transfer in both technology and business through classes, workshops, testing and demonstration. |

Končar računalima posljednje generacije opremio MSPTC - Wednesday, February 13, 2008 Končar-INEM, domaći proizvođač računala, opremio je učionicu Microsoftovog poslovno-tehnološkog centra u Varaždinu s 20 četvero-jezgrenih radnih stanica Končar Electra 4e. Računala će polaznicima edukacijskih tečajeva omogućiti pokretanje najzahtjevnijih okruženja prema Microsoftovom Level 5.5 standardu, koji zahtjeva rad više od jedne virtualne mašine istovremeno. Riječ je o najzahtjevnijim suvremenim tehnologijama i okruženjima kao što su, među ostalim, Windows Server 2008, SQL Server 2008, Visual Studio 2008 te Microsoft Dynamics. INETA Europe: European Silverlight Challenge started! - Monday, December 10, 2007INETA EUROPE ( http://europe.ineta.org), in collaboration with Microsoft have prepared a development competition named “European Silverlight Challenge”, starting November 2007 and ending at the end of January 2008.
The opening is this week with the participation uploading and all participating countries will be activating their local competitions progressively.
Microsoft Business - Technology Center is one of the sponsors of local competition.
This competition is based on the development of a web component or application using Silverlight for its user interface and with the only condition that it is to be published as Open Source (license MS-PL), being able to apply these components free of charge to the user group’s web sites and online technical communities. It is organized on a country base and then there will be a European Finals with the winners of each country.
Deadlines: starting December 4th, 2007, ending January 28th, 2008, announcing of winners: February 12th, 2008.

Mobility Bootcamp in MSBTC - November 26 - 30, 2007 - Thursday, November 01, 2007Mobility Bootcamp is a 5-day intensive training that will cover all aspects of Windows Mobile technology: Development, OS Architecture, Solution Design and Architecture, Mobile P&P, Deployment, Messaging, Infrastructure, Best Practices, real world Case Studies. It will be a real BootCamp, lasting 5 days from 9 am till 9 pm, with 2-3 hours of out-of-classroom activities, not IT related.
